Breaking News!
In shocking revelations in spanish newspapers today, Real Madrid once again have broken their bank to land in another world-class player into their ranks just hours after signing French forward Karim Benzema from Lyon. Mavericks midfielder Kee Siang will join the likes of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo in the Second Galactico Era helmed by re-elected Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
The deal was concluded away from the public eye, which explains why the deal was not even heard till today as playmaker Kee Siang was revealed as a Real Madrid player at a press conference at the Santiago Bernabeu reception centre.
Sources have stated that the Mavericks fans are enraged with this recent turn of events, and a barrage of abuse and protest will be expected at the Stade de Sembawang this whole week.
There has been minor altercations during the course of the deal, as the new signing had specifically requested to wear the number 7 jersey, currently worn by Real Madrid captain Raul Gonzalez. He was unmovable in his stance, in that, if he did not get the number 7, he would not sign the paperwork and play for the Los Merengues.
Florentino Perez had earlier stated that he had already reserved the number 5 jersey for him, previously worn by legend Zinedine Zidane. This did not come down good for the ex-Mavericks player, and thus Raul was given the free transfer immediately to accomodate the new signing's demands.
Sources have revealed that the transfer of Kee Siang cost Real Madrid a whopping £77m, making him the second most expensive player in the world, behind crybaby Cristiano Ronaldo.
