First Half

It was a good comeback for the team. Wei Long started the scoring with his nose with assist from Randy. Minutes later, Amir dribbled past the whole defence and placed the ball into the right bottom corner. Randy had a shot saved by keeper followed by a shot across the goal line. No luck! Wei long somehow placed the ball past everyone in the penalty box from a Chung Wei's corner. Chin Yuen plead to have a chance to fulfill his potential as a striker with goal hero Wei long dropping to the midfield. Another great cross and run from Chung Wei allow Chin Yuen to score his first mavericks goal. Finally! Other than the goals, Randy hit the bar once and Chris Ramos made a few threatening runs from right back and a obvious dive that went unpunished. First half 4-0.
Second Half
Line up - Alex (GK), Jiun Wei (LB), Clement (LCB), Chuan Ji (RCB), Chris Ramos (RB), Amir (LM), Barry (CM), Faud (CM), Chung Wei (RM), Wei Long (LF), Randy (RF).
Subs - Chin Yuen, Chao Xing and Jun Wen (guest player)
Randy finally did himself justice by scoring a wonderful header after 5 mins into second half. The assist came from Amir after he dribbled past 2 players and sent a looping cross over the defence for Randy. 5-0! 10 mins into the second half, 3 substitutes were made with guest player Jun Wen replacing Randy, Chin Yuen replacing Amir and Chao Xing replacing Chung Wei. Chin Yuen increased his tally to 2 by finishing off a good team move. He passed the ball to Jiun Wei who is now playing left back with him passing the ball to Wei Long. Wei Long displayed good vision to loop a cross to Chin Yuen who controlled the ball and sent a looping shot with his right foot to the top right hand corner of the post leaving the keeper with no chance. 6-0! Guest player Jun Wen did well by scoring a deep cross from Fuad at the end of the left hand goalpost with a free header. 7-0!
Amir and Chung Wei replaced Wei long and Clement as Mavericks looked to increase the scoreline. Amir did another dazzling run and score again.8-0! Dream of keeping a clean sheet was shattered when Chao Xing brought down an opponent in the penalty box. It was a light shoulder push and the opponents dropped to the group as if he is shot!. 8-1 as the opponents try to make the scoreline more respectable. 2 mins later, Chris Ramos had a cramp at his left or right calf, cant remember, haha. Must his dive, runs and morning street soccer. Randy replaced him. Guest player Jun Wen won the ball from the opponents' central defender and scored with a powerful shot into the centre of the net, leaving the goal keeper with no chance. Great goal! 9-1! At the end of the game, Chin Yuen missed two good opportunities to complete his hat trick, too bad.
9-1 is the score. Next match will be against Liverpool FC, it will not be so easy as they are sitting comfortably at the top of the premier league after a goalless draw with West Ham. Please do not be complacent! haha.
