Standing in for the absent custodian Alex, 2nd choice keeper and right back Adrian seemed a shadow of his past form, as the 1.78m tall player let not one but three delicate chips get over him into the goal. Team members didn't know to laugh or cry at his butter fingers' display.

The player who loves spectacular finishes. Chao Xing timed a perfect run into the area before executing a wonderful first time goal-bound volley. Unfortunately, quick reflexes from the agile keeper denied what would have been a great goal, or rather a great own-goal.

The winger-turned-striker seemed to have done well in clearing what would have been an inevitable goal over the bar with no one between him and the goal-line. The only problem, it was the opponent's goal-line.

The prolific striker showed his versatility as he easily switched to playing rugby from soccer within minutes. He repeated a Beckham-like penalty kick and scored a try from the spot.

Boon Kee
Again, Boon Kee demonstrated his entertaining trademark performance. After securing a goal for the match, he decided to tease the defence with his mazy dribbling. Wonderful control of the ball saw him round not just the defenders and the keeper but also the open goal.

A surprise nominee for this award. After Team Mavericks were awarded a controversial penalty, Amir showed sportsmanship by sending the ball straight towards the keeper who already dived to one side just as the winger stepped up to take the kick.
