Match Invites & Upcoming Matches

Just sent out the match invites. Please note that we will wear white instead of our new home jersey due to clash of colours.

I still hope I am able to do a proper recording of a monthly commitment list of each individual player to properly predict squad strength every week. Please advise if it is plausible.

Jake, please continue to manage the tactics but I really appreciate more people can speak up also. And let's stick to the default key personnel that I've designated for this season. These people will organise play and dictate tempo.

Here, I would like to reiterate the importance of keeping a strong and organised midfield. Khai and Vik have the potential of stamping their authority in midfield, effectively building the missing link we have between defence and attack.

When we achieve that synergy, it will not be difficult for other players in the central park like hard-tackling Harish, speedy Faizy and creative talents like Barry, Kee Siang and Wei Jie to shine in midfield.


Defence: Chuan Ji, Jiun Wei (Deputy)

Midfield: Khai, Vik (Deputy), (if both are not present, one other player in centre mid role)


I will continue to send invites every Monday but I will not be able to monitor attendance everyday so on your part, please ensure that your buddies have responded.

By the way, last week I noticed that Clement and Randy did not respond to playmaker invites.

No fixture this week

There will not be a match again this week. My sincere apologies to those who are looking forward to the weekly fixtures, but unfortunately, match arrangement is beyond our control

There is a breakdown in communication between us and the league organisers. Aza has not replied to Clement's messages but we will resolve this in the coming weeks.

Exam is round the corner and some of us are tied down with projects and endless academic work. I will need players to help with administrative matters (including attendance and match organising) for late November and most of December. Please step forward if you are keen to help. Please don't start volunteering others though.

No league fixture this week. Clement may be able to organise a friendly match instead with the referee. I have not received any news from him. If there is, match invites will be sent to your email and we will also pass down the message via the sms relay system to remind everyone to check inbox (or junk folder). Thanks.

We have better news to rejoice. Looks like Amir is fit to play after a long absence from the squad due to injury. While we will not expect him to return to full form immediately, a brand new Amir is likely to lead the attack once more against Skopet.

Let's hope the skies are merciful this week.

Also, please assist to check the squad size and requirements before outsourcing. We may have an abundance in one area and lack of support in other areas as a result. The best check would be with me, because I will assume responsibility for the decision if you do so.
